PUBG Mobile Night Mode Gameplay: Fun But Only With Night Vision Goggles
Tencent started rolling out the update 0.ix.0 for PUBG Mobile yesterday, introducing a new Night Mode to the game, among a ton of other things. In case you aren't already aware, the new Night Way is merely bachelor on the Erangel map in the Classic game mode and it'southward been randomized just like the atmospheric condition atmospheric condition in game.
Afterwards playing the game for several hours post-obit the update, I finally managed to land a Night Mode game and hither's my feel playing PUBG Mobile in near absolute darkness:
The game started off like any other Archetype mode game on Erangel, with the sky being the only environmental indication that it will be a Dark Manner game. Unlike normal day fourth dimension matches, in which the heaven looks all bright and sunny at the beginning of the lucifer, the sky in the Night Style game resembles an evening sky right from the start. I can't be sure if that's the case with each Nighttime Fashion game, simply that'due south what I noticed in the only Night Style game that I've played so far. If you lot still aren't able to tell if a detail match will take a Night Fashion, the game makes it quite easy by displaying a 'Day/Night' tag in the lesser left corner for Night Mode games.
After jumping off the airplane I had a bunch of time before nightfall to collect loot earlier proceeding into the first circumvolve. As the kickoff blueish zone started moving in, the surround started changing gradually, until it got dark, actually nighttime. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find a pair of night vision goggles and I merely managed to impale a couple of players, simply because they shot at me kickoff.
Not wanting to take whatever further risks, I started looking for a vehicle and as soon as I establish i, I drove towards the nearest supply drop in my quest to detect dark vision goggles. Locating the drop was fairly easy as information technology let out a fluorescent orange smoke which glowed in the moonlight. Alas, as luck would have information technology, I didn't detect the goggles in the supply drop, but I did manage to get an AUG, which helped my quite a chip when the lights were turned dorsum on later in the game.
Clueless and blinded by the darkness, I proceeded to Pochinki which was in the center of the circle and managed to stay alive past hiding out in ane of the houses. At that place was a lot of gunfire in the surroundings, Pochinki existence a popular drop location, only I didn't venture out of my condom spot because of the lack of night vision goggles. I figured that someone else might have found a pair by then and I didn't really desire to take any chances, then I waited till information technology was low-cal again.
One thing that I noticed while playing PUBG Mobile in Night Way was that a lot of players managed to stay live until the 2nd concluding circumvolve, probably because they besides, similar me, were hiding out and waiting for the morning time. As soon as the Sun started rise, the roar of gunfire grew all effectually me equally players emerged from their hiding spots. After that the game was quite normal, except for the in-game sounds, which included a rooster crowing to signal the oncoming dawn and birds chirping when the Sun was upward.
I managed to trounce the last squad alive to take the chicken dinner, but in all honestly, I was playing confronting players with a lower Elo rating. Had I been playing in my own Elo, things might have turned out a bit differently.
That said, what practise you think about the new Night Mode in PUBG Mobile? Have y'all managed to land in a Night Fashion game yet? Did y'all notice Nighttime Vision goggles? Share your experiences in the comments department and make certain you throw in some screenshots using the nighttime vision goggles.
